Tiny Player Overview
Tiny Player is a free, minimalist music player for the Mac with a native macOS interface. It plays MP3, FLAC, AAC, AIFF and WAV files, and since version 1.7.3 also Ogg and Opus on macOS 15 and newer. You drag your music onto it, build a playlist and find tracks with quick search, while a compact mode keeps the player small on your screen.
Tiny Player is made by Tomáš Andrle of Catnap Games and is free to download. Version 1.7.3 makes search faster and adds the Ogg and Opus support. Earlier updates brought an updated playback engine and metadata scanner, a keyboard shortcuts cheat-sheet, support for m4b audiobook files and file associations for M3U playlists. The app is a universal build for Intel and Apple Silicon Macs and needs macOS 13 or later. It is a small download of under 3 MB.
